Ok, rather than start a new thread I'll just piggyback on this one. I've been cleaning my '88 3.2 case thoroughly but there is still a faint tan colored anodized look on the inside that does not seem to want to come off no matter what I do. I've even used a brass brush and it barely affects it. Am I safe in closing it back up? As I said, this "almost" looks like a stain or anodizing.
