No excuses being made here but this answered a big question for me. I could not understand how Massa could not get around Nelson. It seems he was having brake problems at the end and was glad to finish 3rd. If this is true or not I do not know but it makes total sense considering Ferrari's pace in relation to Renault and considering Heidfeld was moving in on him too.
