I went over for Le Mans in '05, then went to visit some friends in London. I was in Saint James Park with my kids (then 9 and 11). Some stupid bloody pelican scooped up a pigeon right in front of the family and proceeded to suffocate it in his pouch for the next 10 minutes. Pretty gruesome -- and all the other stupid pigeons just stood around like nothing was happening. Wreched place, London. Full of Russians in Ferraris and Yogis in Rolls and a beer is $15.
