That's not how my '88 is. As referenced on the factory printout on my fuse box cover (part # 911.612.243.03), and going from the forward most relay towards the rear (A-G), they are labeled as follows:
A - Air conditioning (my A/C is removed, but I leave the relay there as a spare)
B - Foglights
C - Twin tone horn
D - Cruise control (no CC on my car - missing)
E - Oil cooler fan
F - Booster fan
G - unused
Now my Bentley has them numbered 1-6 (with 0 being unused) from back to front:
0 - unused
1 - Footwell blower motors
2 - Oil cooler fan
3 - Cruise control
4 - Horn
5 - Fog lights
6 - A/C condensor blower
