Yeah, quite a let down. Turned into 15 heat races. Thought I was back at Ascot watching sprint cars.
Indy has a very aggressive racing surface that ate the r/r tires up at 11 laps. Usually the rubber from the tires with adhere to the track and things get better, but not today. Typically at other tracks, the r/f tire will fail first.
They need to spend more time testing with the new car. Wasn't an issue in previous years with the old car.
