I had one installed in my new garage because of the height of the 8 foot door and the clearance behind. I can't understand why they don't use these on all doors. It is is absolutely silent, the only thing you hear is the door moving. Very small and simple with nothing hanging out in the middle of the garage. I see no downside except for the price, if there is any.
