Jackson is high on the list of worst Presidents for thumbing his nose at the Supreme Court. Of course Bush II, just look at what's coming out now RE: politically motivated Justice Dept. hirings, among a boatload of other grievances. Johnson, definitely, for lying us into Vietnam. Grant's admin was marked by total corruption and ineptitude. Nixon, nuff said there as well as Clinton for staining the office, and various blue dresses.

problem is there are so many variables for defining the worst President.

For overall ineptitude combined with corruption, cronyism and generally taking a healthy country and leaving it in terrible shape by every measure, Bush II is highest on the list.
