I had new exhaust system w/too loud muffler. Speedwerks does racing porsches, so originally installed a gutted new muffler w/3.5" dia exhaust pipe and SSI headers.
Had migraine after 20 miles.
Teens loved it, wife and neighbors hated it.
kept SSI headers, and changed to M&K 2-in/1-out--works/sounds great.

BTW, I've got the stock muffler I'll give you cheap, if you pay the freight. came off an '87 3.2.
