On Monday I was out in the Valley having breakfast with a friend that is building a 5800 SF custom in N Claremont, CA ..2 doors down from Steve Garvey. The material alone is 1.2M, lot next door is for sale at 850K, they have plans for at least 250K in landscaping. Anyway while there I head a KABOOM, I looked up at the house thinking what the fk, and then the ground jolted on a N/S axis.. Ohhhh an earthquake! I thought that one is about 4.5 to 5 and up in the San Gabriels....the closer you are the more jolt and the farther the more roll like jello...So I knew it was pretty close by the jolt. Claremont is about 10 miles N of Chino Hills.

Listening to the news in LA is a FKING joke....Down to Bill at Santa Monica....ahhhh no damage here, just people running around like chickens with their heads cut off, To you Downtown Joe....NO problems here either....just more people panicing, Over to you Cecil in OC....nope nothing to report here either, more people going crazy like ants on fire... out to the epicenter in Chino...yep we got some damage out here....a block wall fell over and a coupla cans in a 711 fell off the shelf...people seem calm here....
