I am stuck between a 1973 Carrera RS back date or a 1974 Iroc look...or a ST look or...or...or. I have some thinking to do. I deffinetly want a vintage look from this car when its all said and done.

Don't change a thing. Tasteful green color, beautiful original touch with existing chrome pieces, particularly the headlight rings and door mirrors. Lower the rear a tad, and that's it.
Later model SC's and Carrera's became too stealth with overdose of blackout accents and monochromatic interior and exterior color schemes. But that was the "Eighties".
Then there's the No/So California aftermarket, plastic knock-off thing with RSR, RS, IROC, ducktale, weld-in wide body crap, which is simply ugly in that west coast way. These type of changes moves the original intent of the car far from the euro designer's intent. It's your car, but change like that isn't always good. Never mind how it will tank the value.
