well, the bottom line is, "that's racing." To win you have to finish. It does no good to run the fastest lap every lap and blow up on the final straight. That's called losing.
Very bad luck for Massa. He was clearly very fast. But he done blowed up. That is the beauty of racing - it is pretty clear-cut. No "style points" or subjective crap (except when the stewards get involved). You either finish first or you don't.
