This is completely unsubstantiated, yet because it is a shot against the NRA, it will be repeated for a few weeks in newspapers, websites, the evening news...
And we all know that Mother Jones is a reputable publication without an agenda. I mean, they hired Michael Moore as editor, so they must be good. (They also fired him for consistently missing deadlines....and work itself....)
Contrast that with Obama's smoking, or John Edwards affair, or Hillary's inner circle--all "off limits" topics.
