The shop I've been dealing with caters to the high performance and racing industry, mostly American iron, but they work on all makes of foreign as well. They did a great job on a complete TR-6 engine I brought to them last year. The young guy who works on my Porsche stuff, while not a Porsche expert, has Porsche and VW experience and understands German aircooled products. He's also a conscientious individual, so I'm more than a bit surprised the head was returned to me this way. At this point, so much time has passed that no one is likely to remember for sure what happened. I just want to find a replacement and move on.
