When I began research on 911's I saw that the early 80's cars were running Dizzy's but I assumed by at least 1990 they had to have switched over to coil packs. Since my 1980 Targa had a 1990 motor and 1994 computer I was sure (and did not research again, assumed) that there would be coil packs. I was very surprised that Porsche was still using Dizzy's.
Anyone know how far into the 90's Porsche continued to use a Dizzy setup on their cars?
