a friend, an actual real world physical friend, talked me into signing up for something called "goodreads". it's a networking site for book lovers. not a bad place, just not as interesting as here.

now i am deluged with friend requests from what sound like twelve year old girls. if you approve one of these, you're looking at receiving daily updates of every little thought that wanders through their heads i am still searching for a polite way to tell them to keep the hell away from me. i'm a creepy adult, and don't want to read your way too long review of some jane austen novel.
