You can replace the ignition switch by removing your front seat so you can lay in the footwell to gain access to the switch. 
First you have to get this box out of your way: 
Here's what you'll see when you pull the connector off the back of the switch:

You have to remove the two phillips screws (top and bottom) and pull the switch off. Here's what the lock mechanism will look like with the switch off:
