Hi Elsie,
A 944 motor will go if you get the front cross member & DME computer. If I got a donor car, I would use the whole drive train & brake/suspension. It may take some fabricating for later than early 85 trans & it may take some to mount the rear suspension.
Also Simpson & Renegade make kits to put in V6 & small block Chevy. You can do a "Search" because there has been several posts on this.
