Yes, I think the the iPhone screen is "great". I'm just not hearing or reading about folks complaining about the iPhone display . . . except for some folks who appear to be wearing their bias on their sleeves.
I look at LCDs all day, and the iPhone display is excellent. Maybe it's because my eyes are getting old and you have especially sensitive eyes?
