I think it will be fine to sit for a couple weeks or so. That's not long-term storage. But starting it isn't nearly enough. It needs to be driven. I've heard of people who just start their cars and let them idle for a few minutes. Of course, when they want to drive their cars, the transmission doesn't work, or the suspension collapses, or...
