If it makes you feel any better, my dad saw Iron Buttery at the Armory on the Iowa State campus.....
Seriously though, while I "missed" all of the 60's shows, I have seen some pretty good ones.
Of course it helped I worked at Wolf Trap, the National Park for the Performing Arts, as an usher for two seasons during the summers in college. While there were the typical lame concerts, I did see some great shows there. CS&N, with Mick Jagger stepping in for a couple of songs back in the mid 90's was a memorable one, as was B. Marsalis the night after Jerry died. The "Fire On the Mountain" was intense, and brought tears to my eyes...
My wife and I even flew to Buffalo this June to catch Tom Petty for our 10th Anniversary since we weren't going to be in Colorado when he was here....
