I can empathize with VaSteve a bit. We live in a affluent area, and some of the estimates we get from contractors and such are just absurd. We just got an estimate to tile our laundryroom. $7000 for a 10x14 ft floor! We had some saner estimates, but that one took the cake.
I would look for a legitimate operation run by immigrants. There are tons of Mexicans and Asians who run landscaping operations that are not expensive. Ask around.
