while it doesn't happen often, i'm sure it happens to all of us:

some "rider" says something so amusingly stupid that you almost have to bite your lip to keep from blurting out "you're a complete moron!" or bursting into laughter.

i ran across a guy just the other day.
he rides up, and as he dismounts, i notice the rear tire is really low...looked like about 10~12 psi at best.

"Hey, you might want to put some air in that rear tire".

"Yea, I know. I read on one of those message boards that you check and add air when the tires are cold. Around here, it doesn't get cold until about Halloween."


(oddly enough, there was no snappy comeback from me. i just stood there...and blinked a couple of times, while he walked off).

anybody else ever run into this guy? his cousin maybe?
