It was a strange gig. It was in the "Independence Bowl" stadium in Shreveport...Right after that, a local TV station's news helicopter (KTBS 3- ABC), a little Hughes 300 IIRC crashed about 50 yds. away, he snagged a single line that was running from a light pole in the parking lot to the side of the stadium.
The "live" headset mics were powered up for a while
Needless to say, it was in the middle of one of their BIG production numbers. Those boys just about shat themselves.
