You are not understanding the problem. The French cannot determine these figures. The government does not have them. This is no small matter to the French. In order to obtain the breakdown of non- French native stock Algerians and their birthrates would require a change in the French Constitution.
I have yet to obtain a copy of the book, but where are they obtaining the data for making this claim? How are they defining what an Algerian born woman is? And where would they obtain the numbers from? France does not record that data.
Softball or just wild-assed guess. It doesn't matter what is being bandied about, it takes real data to make a claim. There are only guesses out there, because the data is not being recorded. What part of that don't you understand?
