If you read the posts that I quoted in that post...you will see that for a certain few...it was just an opportunity to poke a finger in our eye...bash the US under the cover of the deaths of some French troops...how dishonorable.

I've been there; you say you've been there...I have no problem honoring a soldier that has died serving his country...God bless them all.
...but I resent, like hell, the slam of my country and its leadership that came along with the post.
---and also resent the problems that our "ally"France has caused for our military over the years...everything from endangering our aircrews striking Libya by making our warplanes fly around French airspace to their "oil for food" scandal to prop up Saddam. Of course I don't blame the soldiers...I blame the French government and those that put them in place.
