) and suddenly I needed to ramp up on suits.
I talked to a lot of my buddies who have done well in business. Their advice was to take the intent of the whole suit (color, cut, pants and
shoes) into consideration: there is no hard and fast rules on cuffs.
A conservatively cut, dark suit with pleated pants can work well with cuffs.
What I did was buy two pairs of pants for every suit coat, I cuffed one and left the other straight, regardless of the pleat.
