I just bought an early 996--Tiptronic, 2 wd, non turbo, like new, low miles. I plan to make it my daily driver.

I like the "jellybean" styling starting with the 993s.

I noticed that prices of 993s seem to have stabilized, in fact my 996 cost less than a similar 993. I guess the last air cooled car has some collector value already, and they weren't made for very many years.

Question: What is the difference in the driving experience between a 993 and 996? engine sound of course but what else?
