Long story.

I only received an honorable mention. The other 2 928's took 1st and second and a very nice 944 track car took 3rd. I was a bit miffed to say the least as my car was perfect and although the 944 was sweet it was still a track car and even the owners of the other cars were confused. I later found out that somehow some numbers were transposed and I should have done much much much better. Oh well life's a ***** sometimes.


Interestingly we had a second show the following day, our local PCA picnic concours. I took 1st with 2 cars in each class the turbo and 928. The turbo won peoples choice out of about 80+ cars and the 928 came in second for best in show as far as the cleanest car there. The car that came in 1st was a freshly restored Jagermeister 935 with 0 miles on it so it better have won especially since they can only judge topside on a car like that so it gets a perfect score for everything that can't be judged.

Here is a pick of the car that took 1st so if my GTS came in second for overall cleanliness it was doing pretty good. I think we got 299.3 out of 300 points and 298.0 out of 300 points for the turbo.
