I quit after the "shave an ounce of weight" line...
My old 911S has a curb weight of 2,440 pounds. The '73S was a bit heavier because of crash beams in the doors, but the '72 and '73 models were the heaviest of the longnose models.
What's the weight of the lightest P-car made today?
