I had a friend who almost died from eating them many years ago, suppose it was an exception but the entire family of four ended up w/ food poisoning and were in the hospital for a couple of days. I haven't touched an Omaha steak since then. I know many folks who love them but I can't bring myself to test the waters. I don't like the idea of buying meat through the mail.
