Yeah, that myth has been around since room-sized computers were called 'Giant Brains' by Hollywood and the media!
Sure didn't reduce the stress on CBS News executives on election night 1952! What Edward R. Murrow said then in an apology to the public about delaying the prediction of a landslide victory for Ike more than four hours ... "The trouble with computers [pause] ... is PEOPLE!" Still applicable today ... with Lil' Billy still repeating and perpetuating the myth!
