Still a Marietta address and a mile or two extra to the the base but safe, excellent schools and super neighborhoods. I live in East Cobb and love it here. There is quite a mixture of new homes from $1M +, to the occasional old brick ranch, but East Cobb is for the most part, newer and newer styles of homes etc. as opposed to the 'old' Marietta on the other side of I-75. If your looking for land etc, youre going to have to go west out towards Dallas, or northwest up into Cherokee County or Canton area.
And Roswell Road is actually in both Fulton and Cobb counties, and the section in Cobb is a desireable place.
