If you have the room, store the parts. They will be worth plenty in the future.
A guy I work with is into 1969 Dodge Chargers. He had 'em even before the Dukes TV stuff. He used to just toss parts that were broken figuring they would never be worth anything. Now, 25 years later, he's paying $500 for trim pieces that he tossed out years ago. He always warned me never to toss anything that you replace...
Try restoring an old pre impact bumper 911. Nice original parts (no matter what they are from trim to exhaust to whatever) can command huge prices for nice stuff.
