I had issues with my ex wife along those lines. She was angry that I spent a lot of time with my car (at the time a 3 series) and online learning about it, and talked about it all the time. Of course, she had a lot of other problems as well. Hence the "ex".
My current fiance loves my 911, and her only complaint is that I've only let her drive it once. She's saving her pennies to buy a 944 or a 914. I found a keeper.
