Yeah, I'm not "rich" by any means, so I was going to take my time on this & be precise as possible. That's why I joined this forum, so I could talk to all the experts. The car & myself are located in Northwest Arkansas, I'd be surprised if there's any 928 experts around here - maybe Little Rock.
Any more trouble spots to check out or clean before the start let me know. My plan was to drop the gas tank & make sure it was cleaned out, oil change, fuel filter. I want to find a way to at least turn on the electrics so I know at least that much works, with the "ignition lock cylinder" all tore up I don't know a way to do that without replacing it. With the door missing, I figure with a new battery\charge the car will start beeping about the "door being opening" or the doom light may come on.
Is there a switch\sensor that tells the car if the door is open. The manuals I have don't seem to have anything about the interior in them, but I guess I should be looking in the wiring section.
