As far as my 4 year old son's shows, I'm a big fan of Spongebob and Fairly Odd Parents. He likes to watch Family Guy when I have it on, but I never really feel quite right about it. I like the old stuff, but it's really hard to find. Damn our PC society.

I think people get waaaay too concerned about their kids TV habits. For starters, your kids shouldn't be watching that much TV anyway. My son would much rather be playing something than watching TV. My parents were very strict on my TV viewing, and I was a lot bigger SOB as a child than many of my friends. If there's not graphic violence, sex, or lots of cursing (f-bomb, etc), I have no qualms about letting my son watch. Typically unless it's R-rated, we're ok. I also have shut off a few movies if they seem too bad. Right now some of his non-cartoon favorites are Transformers, Twister, and Jurassic Park.

Contrary what we're led to believe, he's also very polite, plays well with other kids, and not at all violent. If you believe some parents, he should have killed 20 or 30 people by now.
