Anything between Redding and Bakersfield and the Sierras and the Coast Range sucks. Hot, dirty summers and foggy, dirty winters. Not to mention the overcrowding and traffic. And I should know, since I've lived in the Central Valley my whole life. But hey, good luck to you.
