uh, no

stay away from the south area in general, North Highlands and Del Paso Heights suck also, unless you are a crack dealer or something

if you are an old codger, yeah, good choice

I have lived in Sacramento most of my life. You will want to live near where she is practicing. You will want an apartment to start, until you figure out what is up. I can tell you whatever you need to know about the area. Elk Grove is South of Sacramento, south of the shady areas, commute into town is pretty rough. Roseville and Rocklin are West of town, not bad, sort of suburban hell if you ask me, brutal commute if you are interested in going into town. Orangevale is sort of on the western fringe of town. The midtown area(mentioned as in the letter streets above) is nice, but spendy.

I like Carmichael or the North part of Sacramento near the American River personally, but am biased because I grew up in that area.

Weatherwise, hot and dry in the summer, overcast and or foggy from November to March, pretty much.

How much dough you planning to drop on a crib? My best friend is a realtor who is probably as familiar with the area as I, and could hook you up
