You might want to try the very active Rennlist.com Boxster forum or maybe the Boxster/Cayman forum here. This forum deals with the air cooled 911's (although some of us do, in fact, own Boxsters and Caymans).
Also, if I were you, I'd throw in the towel (in terms of do-it yourself diagnosis) and send it to a respected repair shop. They'll have it figured out in no time.
