I will admit the political thread count (not a new "sheet"!) was higher than normal, but was it too hard to even tolerate titles of threads; seriously?
That Wayne had to spend any time creating a new OT forum because folks couldn't even stand to look at the thread titles is beyond my ability to comprehend; honestly. If one chose to actually open threads that one thought might offend him/herself then there is no excuse for complaints in that regard, IMO. Perhaps complaints of folks who were violating the "rules" could have been made and that offender could have been canned?
Like cat juggling, I don't like the ugliness when some debates get personal and silly, but none of this should be taken seriously of personally anyways.
I think the best solution, that allows
most people to be happy in forums like these, is for each member to apply their own individual filter. Each of us likes different stuff, but I would not try to impose my preferences on the community, except as it applies to PPOT being the single depository for everyone's . . . "deposits".
Anyhoo, it's Wayne's deal and we will all just have to deal with it.
