That's already taken care of with the instant replay. I'm talking about the issue of the quarterback's control of the ball behind the LOS. How many times do we have to see a quarterback lose the ball, only to have to waste time reviewing the play, and then it's not called the right way? Behind the LOS, the offense should be held responsible for controlling the ball. If they mishandle it in any way, it should be a live ball. Once downfield, the normal rules should apply.
