Ambien doesn't do a thing to me. I've had it for my last three overseas trips. I can actually feel it going to work. It feels like a few bursts of something in my blood and then I just hover on the edge of sleep for a short while before I get woken up or frustrated and resign myself to being awake for the rest of the way. Last time in China a friend gave me a Xanax which knocked me out in the hotel. So I took on on the flight home. Didn't do a thing. Then I tried some Ambien and the mixture made me vomit.
