Comes close.
I added a cat bypass pipe and 911Chips.com chip and pulled 215-217 HP to the rear wheels on a dyno that is supposed to run low (ya right). That is 250+FWHP.
If you do put a sport muffler on it a friend w the same motor, chip, dyno, and day pulled about 7RWHP than I. The only real difference was a Bursh sport muffler.
With or w/o a chip 911's respond well to exhaust changes. The factory seems to have set to run rich under WOT. Freeing up the exhaust makes it easer to breath and puts us usually at a more favorable air fuel ratio.
If you want to confirm you motor there is a motor type number on the horizontal case surface behind the vertical motor serial number. It can be hard to see but it is there. It will be that number like 911/25. Wiping the surface and using a small magnifying glass helps.
