I need to replace one of my footwell blowers and am wondering whether there's a way to replace just the motor and not the entire housing? At $180.00+ per unit it would be nice if theres a way.

I checked the archives and couldn't find any thread that addresses this.

Anyone ever replaced just the motor? If so, what motor did you use, and what's the trick for removing the fan cage from the motor shaft?
