Admittedly, I am a bigger football fan than a baseball fan.
However, if you look back, there were so many games that the Mets blew, be it by blown saves, errors, poor starts, etc, that one game decided by an official really doesn't matter. I think the Mets have well over 20 blown saves this season; their playoff spot would be secured if they cut that number in half, but they didn't.
As for Favre, I couldn't care less which team he plays for. He's past his prime.
