I had my wheels powder coated-the whole wheel and after 6 months of being outdoors, they still look great. Same goes with the rear grill on the duck tail, the wiper arms, and the front grill(vent) below front winshield. They would not do the door handles because they were afraid what the bead blasting and the chemical washes would do to them. So, I sanded them for a few hours, etched them, primed them with zinc oxide and then sprayed them with some trim paint. Still look great.
