Very sad but true story...... A friends 993 GT2 clone meet with an early demise. Hit a tree at 45 to 50 mph dead center perfect, wheels were still straight but the bumper and fuel cell were pushed back a good 2 to 3 feet. Car was towed to the collision shop where a very young, very cute, very blonde insurance inspector came to look at the car. As she looked under the front hood which was sandwiched inhalf, she said "this car is totalled, these engines are really expensive and this one is completely crushed". It was incredibly hard to keep a straight face as I walked away.
