Were in for a very rough ride, but passing this package would have done nothing to stop that. Credit markets will be extremely tight. Thats bad for the economy, but we had to get back to some kind of financial sanity in this country, and I would rather have a fast ugly trip down than a slow on.
Dow below 9000 before the week is out.....
