My neighbor used a razor blade on his '71 vette. He's an ex body guy. You might try the same? he said if you catch it right you can take off 2-3 inch strips at a time... piece of cake. He said to get a wall paper size scraper ~3-4" blade with the nice long handle, be gentle, but firm, and the paint just flakes off. Low dust and no chemicals.
