We have a pretty strong 928 group here in SE Michigan. There is a Fall Color Tour scheduled for October 12, leaving Clarkston's Depot Park at 12:30PM. This might be your best opportunity to see a number of nice 928s in one spot and learn the differences between the various model years.
We also have a beer night in Royal Oak on the 2nd Thursday of each month at The Four Green Fields Irish Pub on the SW corner of 13 Mile and Woodward next to the Secretary of State's office. Things usually start around 7PM and go to 10PM or so.
